Info

Abstain, Devour is a dance film that examines the tension between restraint and indulgence, using movement and visual storytelling to explore the impulses that pull us between control and surrender. Through emotionally driven choreography and striking cinematic imagery, the film transforms an internal struggle into a visceral, physical experience, inviting viewers to interpret its themes through emotion rather than dialogue.

My Role

As producer, choreographer, and performer, I played a central role in shaping the project's creative direction from development through production alongside Alexis White. Abstain, Devour challenged me to further develop my voice as a dance filmmaker, deepening my approach to storytelling through movement while collaborating with a team to create a visually compelling and emotionally resonant piece.
